THIS IS NOT a traditional book review (I say that like I really know what that means) IN THE SENSE that I will elaborately describe the book to the tee, and exclaim over the poets syntax, imagery, allusions, metaphors, etc. I will just simply tell you that this is a brilliant book of poetry, and I highly, HIGHLY, recommend you purchase it and feast on the words that are therein. Tishani Doshi has a great sense and ability to paint a picture with her words, and convey such powerful emotions. I boldly say that Tishani Doshi is the Emily Dickinson of our times.

Everything Begins Elsewhere is Tishani Doshi second collection of poems published by Copper Canyon Press in 2013.
