The story is told from Clay Jensen’s (her crush) point of view. And it’s beautiful. I genuinely felt for Hannah. So many things had happened to her and although, I don’t agree with her decision to take her own life, I can see why she did. Nobody understood her and honestly, everyone’s attempts at helping her were shotty and just plain sad. 

Witnessing a rape of someone who was once boderline your best friend, has to be so traumatizing. Being the one who continued to let it happen…
