Let me just say it’s going to be really hard to write a review for this book without spoiling the plot but I think I can do it…

So Gone Girl is basically about a married couple and the story starts with Amy, the wife, disappearing(hence the title). Throughout the book, we are told about Nick (the husband) and Amy’s marriage through the perspective of both characters, until we reach almost the middle of the book where we find out how Amy disappeared.

After returning home and finding his wife missing on the morning of their 5th anniversary, Nick contacts the police to report his wife’s disappearance and from the beginning the Author sparks the readers attention through a sense of suspicion in Nick’s narration.
