You just reminded me of the pleasure I used to get in my teens when I used to receive a letter through the post from my exotic French penpal. The world was indeed a larger place.

You should definitely get one then- it’s a great pleasure! I love to write and read letters. I have a few pen pals from around the world and everytime I see something from them in my mailbox, it’s like magic. E-mails are definitely not the same to me. I think there are a lot of people in Britain who’d love to write with you, I actually had a few pals there myself not long ago (sadly, they stopped writing). There are some pen pal pages on the web and I’ve seen many British gals and guys there! 🙂
